[Upgrade] Major Deployment Infrastructure Upgrade

During the next two weeks (July 21–31, 2025), we are rolling out our new deployment infrastructure. We will upgrade all application hosting servers during this time frame. Despite our initial plan in June to upgrade servers with some downtime, we have decided to avoid any downtime and migrate on a per-project basis. We launched a new set of servers and are gradually moving projects from the old infrastructure.

What to expect:

  • Starting this week, any new deploy plan can be created on the new servers only.
  • We will reach out to every customer to agree on a migration date and time if it can’t be done automatically.
  • Application metrics in Monitor will be unavailable for the next 3 weeks while we set up the new metrics solution.

New features:

  • Once migration is finished, you will be able to choose a custom domain SSL provider (Let’s Encrypt or Cloudflare).
  • CDN for custom domains will become optional (for non-Cloudflare SSL).
  • New well-known files support: llms.txt, security.txt, and any other file type for more customization.
  • Full deploy environment backup and restore: DB & Storage.
  • Option to promote a release to a new deploy environment without generating a new version.
  • Shorter deployment times with automatic retries, error correction, and faster deploy validation.
