[Billing] Introducing regional pricing

Starting from November 25, 2024, we are launching our new regional pricing offer.

The new regional pricing offers significantly discounted subscriptions to a number of countries around the world to stimulate new developers. Regional pricing is primarily targeted at low-GDP/low-income countries in Africa and LATAM, but it is also available in some countries in Asia.

Regional pricing is based on a dynamic pricing model and is powered by our platform’s resource management module to distribute compute resources in real time between regions and subscription types. For the most underutilized regions, we offer the highest possible discounts, and as saturation is reached, discounts can be adjusted to maintain optimal infrastructure load.

While we use the same subscription names across discounted regions, they have slightly adjusted priorities and features to offset costs and ensure financial feasibility. For example, during high demand for code generation (project publication), projects in discounted regions may experience slightly longer publication times due to queue priorities, though this should be barely noticeable.

The new regional pricing is a significant step to increase the affordability of our platform in low-income regions and will bring many benefits, including a larger community and more diverse projects.

As always, we reserve the right to change regional discounted pricing at any time. Fair use policy applies.

Is it possible to see somewhere what tariffs are in which regions and how to connect them?

@skripov all pricing is location based. On our website and inside of Studio Workspace we show adjusted prices based on current user location.

There is no publicly available list. Reach out to our team to get details.
