AppMaster 2025 Roadmap

We have a lot of plans for 2025 and want to share our roadmap of what we will be doing in the next 12 months.

Our 2025 work plan will be divided into 2 parts:

  • Active development of major features and large architectural changes for the first 6 months (Jan-Jun)
  • Optimization, stabilization and iterative feature improvements (Jul-Dec)

Major features that we will focus on:

  • Launch new mobile applications designer (v4). The deadline is set to Feb 1, we will try to launch with no delays.
  • Realtime collaboration in Business Logic Designer
  • Improvements to External API Designer (We launched an updated version in the end on 2024, but it still requires a lot of updates to cover all use-cases)
  • Architectural improvements for files handling and UUID PK/FK support
  • Advanced release management in CI/CD pipelines to let developers promote sets of artifacts (binaries and bundles) to different deploy targets.
  • Improved version of backend microservices. There is a chance that we will make microservices available in subscriptions lower than Enterprise once feature is stable.
  • Single tier subscriptions
  • Classes & Components in Web Application Designer to further customize UI of your applications.
  • Improved version of Local Database Designer (LDB) in Web & Mobile
  • External API Designer in Web & Mobile applications to work directly with 3rd party backends and systems.
  • PWA support in web applications install apps, work completely offline.
  • AI Assist to build projects, parts of apps from prompts or uploaded PRDs.

We removed Visual SQL Editor from our 2025 roadmap, maybe next year.

Part of our team is currently working on improved version of Web Apps logic execution, that should bring significant gains in terms of performance, improved visual elements rendering latency and we hope will solve slower performance when running in Safari-based browsers. New logic format already implements in the backend and our team actively refactoring web application code to integrate new format. We expect to release this update in February.

While we have our roadmap is set for execution, we still open to feedback and feature requests to align the future of the platform with our active developers.
