Hi,
I cannot link my AM web app to my domain name.
Can you please help?
Thanks
@NJ2024
Everything seems correct. You have you custom domain in configuration and usually in 15-30 minutes custom domain will start to work.
If not, please make sure that you’ve added cname to cdn.eu-appmaster.io in your domain DNS management panel (check with domain register).
@NJ2024 Based on your screenshot you never added correct cname for your domain in your DNS management console. Double check that.
You have wrong hostname in your alias - at least there should be no slash at the end. Consult with your DNS/domain provider.
The domain provider indicates that we need to add a A record. For that, I am asked to add the IP. Can you please provide it to me? Thanks
We use Cloudflare to manage custom domain names, automatically issue SSL/TLS certificates, provide caching and security features like WAF.
There is no static IP where you can point your cname or A record. Cloudflare is working with cnames only, no other options are available.
Make sure:
- You’ve created a correct cname. Different providers have slightly different approach when creating domain names in your zone: some require you to enter full fqdn (subdomain.domain.com), some just subdomain, some rarely require you to add a dot in the end and etc.
- If you want to use your root domain without subdomain (e.g. example.com), check if your provider support apex-level cnames.
If you use Hostinger (based on screenshots), there is a chance that you improperly created cname and entered full domain, instead of subdomain.
Update: Also, could you please re-add your custom domain to your deploy plan to launch validation process once again.
Thanks a lot for you support. Problem solved
